An Exceptional 1930’s English 6ft* Solid Mahogany Partners Office Desk

A truly exceptional very large & heavy solid mahogany double sided partners desk.  English late 1920’s/30’s period.   In the Georgian manner of ‘Waring & Gillow’, London., and almost certainly made by them

Nine large cockbeaded mahogany lined drawers with solid oak bottoms to the front.  Identical faux drawers to the rear.  All with brass drop handles.  Centre drawer locking with key.  The top retaining its original black hide leather gilded writing surface.  Nicely age worn but undamaged.   Constructed in three sections for easy moving

Kneehole size:  25 ins high  x  23 ins wide.  Drawer interior sizes:  19ins deep x 19.5ins wide.   Drawer heights vary.
